a woman - Irit Goffer-Sasson.
Irit is the designer and driving force behind this leading brand of fashion jewellery. She acquired her education in Art and Design at the Instituto Europeo di Design in Italy. Her intense exposure to the importance of art in daily life in the course of her stay in Italy helped her in her decision to focus on the design of fashion jewellery, and she devoted herself precisely to this in her studio in her Tel Aviv home. Some ten years ago, following the increasing demand for her creations, she founded Amaro.
Today, from her spacious factory located in one of Tel Aviv s prestigious districts she reigns over the design and manufacture of different collections of jewellery to be consigned to the fashion capitals of the world.
Irit specialises in designing sets of very special fashion jewellery, using gems, pearls, Swarovski stones, glass stones and a variety of materials taken from nature, set in unique combinations of colour and texture. Her jewellery contains a profusion of symbols and charms from various cultures and religions, creating unexpected encounters between the crude and the refined, between the natural and the industrial, while conserving its overall beauty and harmony of nature. |
